Games made by me during my study at AIE Adelaide

About Me

I studied at AIE for an advanced diploma. My goal for this was to get into the gaming industry so that I could make games for others to enjoy, to create ideas of games into a reality and because I really do enjoy just seeing a project go from a few boxes to a full-on game.

My studies have also allowed me to further understand what goes into the games I play and how much work the developers put into it. I've learnt that I quite enjoy working in a team environment with people who have similar interests to me.

I am thankful to the teachers and people I studied with at my time at AIE and would love to have a similar experience with the people I will end up working with.

Metroidvania

The aim of the game is to go through and kill the bosses to find out what is causing the corruption spreading through the castle. On your journey you find notes relating to the tragedy that befell here and obtain new skills to survive the castle's tough former residents. You seem to also find some others who have not been consumed by the miasma plaguing the castle and gain assistance from them. But... what lays beyond the castle inner-most doors, what other tragedies await.

VR Puzzle-Horror

In The Abyss the Player's goal is to repair the pipes before they run out of oxygen. But there seems to be something in the darkness that has become curious from all the noise, clattering and light coming from your efforts. Get the pipes fixed and make sure to stay quite if you attract too much attention then who knows what'll happen.

Random room generator demenstration with network compatability

In this demonstration you can see the work of my random room generator. It should work with any shaped room so long as you can determine it's shape with multiple box colliders. It can also work using Mirrors network library and each player will have the same dungeon or collection of rooms to explore. It works by using a bunch of prefabs within an array and randomly chooses one to place at an available door. Before it places the room it will get its dimensions from the colliders and makes a overlap boxes to determine if it will collide with anything. If it finds that there is room to place the room then it will, and so on and so forth until you get a randomly generated dungeon.

Puzzle-Story

In Druid the player explores all these different environments each depicted by its respective season. With each season comes a new ability the player can use and another companion to accompany them on their journey. Take a journey through these beautiful environments and solve the puzzles to reach the top of the mountain.
